Microtech Navy Seals Scarab (A Hollow Grind Video)
Thank you for watching another video description by The Hollow Grind. This video demonstrates the QD-Scarab-N also known as the Navy Seals Scarab. These Scarabs are designed to operate underwater when the situation arises. These are not meant to be exclusively used underwater, they merely exist to give you the option. This is a classic example of something being manufactured using the guideline of “better safe than sorry.” The knife is flawless just like any other Scarab with the added benefits of a tritium insert in the button, drain holes at the rear of the handle, and drainage channels in the blade itself. If someone has a beat up Scarab they wish to donate, we will gladly use it to demonstrate the underwater firing and retraction of BOTH knives. That means taking this 0 knife and subjecting it to its intended purpose even if that means we would not be able to sell the Navy Scarab at full price. Make sure that after firing underwatear, you flush the knife with fresh water and apply adequate lubrication in the slide opening and blade.
