hey scope, i commented in your collection a few weeks ago. good recommendation here, I just got myself a standard SOG Seal Pup and I’m very satisfied with it! Hey, btw, I notice in your video you have a tac flashlight down there, what kind ya got? I have a Fenix TK10, it’s a great light for $65.

I’m glad you do! The flashlight you see is a Nitecore Defender Infinity. I also have a Fenix TA30 lying about somewhere..

Question: What is the knife at #8? Awesome collection!
suggestion: Deffinitly look into purchasing a KA-Bar, it’s one hell of a knife.

  • By scope1122, October 14, 2009 @ 2:29 am

Number 8 is the SOG Pentagon. Yeah I’ll definitely look into getting a Kabar!

You should think of getting a Fairbairn-Sykes Commando Knife. The knife was issued to british commando, including the SAS.
It’s design is old school, but it’s still totally efficient at what he was designed for.
You can have them at a reasonable price at Sheffield Knives website.

More than I want to know haha

You don’t have to spend much to get a good knife. Kabars are very decently priced.

On the other end of the scale, you have the pretty expensive stuff like Zero Tolerance and Busse.

*whistles* Nice set, I particularly like the SOG Pentagon. Are you looking to buy a Smith&Wesson HRT9B? It’s one hell of a knife. Like the Gerber Guardian, but better.

Not looking for more knives. I have too many as it is :P

  • By Xanatos712, November 1, 2009 @ 9:02 pm

You can never have too many knives. Unless you have so many that you can’t get out the door…

You have a nice collection. I have several of those so I can say this though mine have all seen use & wear from Panama to Iraq, and many stops in between. Yours show no sign of wear at all,…Did you just take them from their boxes..?

  • By scope1122, November 9, 2009 @ 7:14 pm

Thanks for looking. I only use a couple of them. I’m more of a collector

  • By scope1122, November 9, 2009 @ 7:19 pm

Nope, not a dealer or anything. I’m more of a collector and only use a couple of these on a regular basis. The others get no use or very light use

  • By V4Venger, November 12, 2009 @ 3:26 pm

I guess you have never heard of collecting knives and keeping them in mint condition. Yeah, not many people do that………..

  • By KorumEmrys, November 12, 2009 @ 6:22 pm

I have heard of it,…just never been one to practice it..If its not of practical use, I tend to avoid buying it. I’m happy for you though. Not my thing. =|
