SOG Twitch XL Black Handle Knife TWI-22 Demonstration
www.sog-knives.net The SOG Twitch XL with the black handle is a large version of the original Twitch. This model TWI-22 has an AUS 8 stainless steel fine edge blade that is opened by the SOG Assisted Technology. When the thumb studs are pushed, the blade comes flying out lickety split. The handle is made of hard anodized aluminum, and the knife is carryed by a pocket clip.

Just a quick question. I just received a SOG Twitch XL and the release is quite stiff. There’s no way you can actually open it with the thumb studs and even the finger lever takes quite a bit of pressure. I’ve loosened up the allen screws quite a bit, but it doesn’t seem to help. It seems that it gets stuck on the locking mechanism on the back before it releases and needs excessive pressure to release it. Any suggestions?
