Nope.. when compliling a Database, and working, the more space the better. More productive, and faster access.

That and PORN on 6 monitors is never a bad thing….

I agree better for when working with multiple applications… but as for porn just get a big screen tv. Video looks shitty on multiple monitors with those dark lines.

I dont know how necessary 6 monitors are. unless you’re some kind of stock analyst or major graphics professional where you can actually have a need for that many monitors. Otherwise, stick with 2.

    Love that program.

  • By ryazzy, May 12, 2009 @ 1:34 am

Yes, 6 Monitor setup is a need. Once you have it, you won’t want to go less.

  • By ryazzy, May 12, 2009 @ 1:37 am

What are you running for Video Cards? 3 PCI-E cards? or a PCI-E plus 2 PCI cards? or are you using Two Matrox Triple Head solutions? or are you using a PCI-E with USB solution.

Finally what OS are you using. Thanks in advance!

  • By EQDruid, May 14, 2009 @ 8:26 pm

Upgraded the Video Cards to 295′s, 3 of them, with the 680I Board.

Running a Tri Boot XP/Vista/7. Love 7, but no Open GL support atm, so I mainly stick with XP.

  • By ryazzy, May 15, 2009 @ 6:09 am

Thank you for the Info. Just out of curiosity. What were you running before you upgraded(for those of use that don’t have 1000′s to spare)! Video Card and Motherboard wise? Thanks again!!! Sweet Rig btw!

  • By EQDruid, May 17, 2009 @ 11:10 pm

It was the same 680I Mobo, with 9800, any video cards will work, as long as they are PCI e. Stick with XP if your not into trying to decode everything yourself =p

You have a nice setup, but why 6 screens and not a beamer or 1 big screen ?

And can you even read text on a website if you open it on one of the top screens ?:P

  • By xeraen, November 14, 2009 @ 10:15 am

  • By EQDruid, November 16, 2009 @ 2:30 am
