my favorite bench made is the one that shattered when you were cutting a twig…..must have been made at a makeshift bench…

Have to agree… I don’t think MOST BM knives are any more expensive if comparing the higher class knives in their line to say Spyderco….

But still very expensive. I had a BM 710 but couldn’t get myself to thrash on it and sold it on Ebay.

I look at it this way: I can get 3 Spyderco Tenacious knives that are super strong for the price of 1 710. Upper class knives aren’t work knives imo they are fondling knives. Maybe when I’m rich lol.

Ah man, that axe is definitely sweet. I have a Griptilian for my everyday carry knife and I really love it. It works great for my line of work; I have to restrict my blade length to less than 3.5 inches. I’ve also been looking into the Spyderco Delica. They are so much more cost efficient and they just look sweet.

The benchmade guy in this vid seemed like a dick. He completely ignored nutn when he mentioned spyderco.

lol….new gun*** man that looks bad on my part…thanks for the laugh

  • By mindsmirror, February 6, 2010 @ 6:24 pm

I can’t wait for the Onslaught, although that guy was way off on the weight. I heard it weighs 7.2oz and not 3.8oz. Still, I love how it has that really exaggerated bowie profile and the Dejavoo type handle!

I agree with christiancoker1; not even acknowledging the existence of a competing steel is ridiculous. It shows the honest fear they have of Spyderco and it makes me seriously question the capabilities of their dive knife steels.

It’s terrible that they’re having stalking issues btw.

i love mine, the only problem is the D2 im really not using it for hard cutting tasks and for a knife im ganna be touching a lot i would prefer a more stainless steal
