My Knife Collection-Gerber, Camillus, SOG, Cold Steel, Tramontina

Here’s my knife collection. It includes: Gerber Paraframe Camillus 499 Pilot Survival Knife SOG SEAL Pup Cold Steel Recon Scout Wolverine Custom Machete Tremontina Machete I just sold my Camillus 499 to survival instructor Paul Tarsitano of www.savealifeca.com. I’ll miss it, but I know Paul will put it to good use. After all, how many knives do I really need? As usual, leave feedback and comments.

Why are you selling the pilot survival knife? You only have 6 knives, I have 19 and counting, and use them all.

Well, the Recon Scout was kinda pricey, so I needed to offset the cost. As much as I liked the Camillus, I didn’t use it very much. I figured it would be better to put it in the hands of someone who’d appreciate it. I will miss it though. Now what am I gonna smash with? Thanks for commenting.

Dude where do u get the first one…? i have one but its serrated…. i odnt like serrated

  • By envirosponsible, July 14, 2009 @ 8:46 am

I got it at a box store. I don’t care for serrations either. I find a sharp blade is usually more effective. Thanks for commenting.

Cool vid man, but you can never have too many knives!! I used to sell and trade stuff to try new things and really regret losing some of the stuff I’ve had. Never sell a knife!!

So why is your recon scout in such good shape? ive put mine through concrete trees brush large vermin whatever, ive swam with it ect. and you wont be dissapointed in trusting your life to a USA made Cold Steel fixed blade. i don’t like the new china ones, and yes, i did do a side by side observance as far as edge holding. sk-5 was a step down.

When I shot this video the Scout was new. I’ve beaten on it since then though, and I’ve also modified it by grinding down the top of the hand guard. You can see it in one of my later videos where I demonstrate the Recon Scout. Thanks

There is no such thing as “too many knives”.
