Microtech Troodon Tanto 2010 Model (A Hollow Grind Video)

Thank you for joining us in another video description of the new Microtech Troodon (regular size) with tanto style blades. With a blade length of about 3.1 inches and its slim design, it is great for pocket carry. The tanto style blades is a favorite and Microtech didn’t disappoint us with the flawless action. Take a look at the video to see how they look and feel in the hand. You can check them out and make a purchase at our website www.thehollowgrind.com Thank you, Dave

I was so excited when I first received my Combat Troodon. The knife, blade, casing and sheath is of the finest quality materials. The only complaint I have is that the blade when locked in the up position rattles around loose. I realize that OTF knives have to have minimal play for the blade action to work correctly, but Microtech should have inserted set screws that could be tighten to minimalize the play like the Sand Shark knife, or insert a spring and bearing to have some tension on the blade so it is not rattling around. Except for this intial blade play, the blade is very solid and I have confidence in it. It’s ashame to have that high quality knife with a high price have a blade that rattles around. Once Microtech fixes this problem, this will be hands down the best knife I have ever known. I send several emails to the company making suggestions of how they could correct this issue, but it appears they are not customer friendly. My real honest assessment…
