Microtech Mini SOCOM Elite Manual and Auto Knives
What cool knives. You’ll first be struck by their super lightweight at 2.6 oz. Few tactical folders can match this weight while providing a decent sized, well designed blade. Fit and finish is top notch as in all Microtech knives. Deployment speed (a bit slower) and the small handle for grasping would be the downsides of this design. However for a knife that enjoys an almost perfect 1 to 1 handle to blade ratio I’ll take it. Sadly this knife is out of production and you’ll have to pursue it …

His dad was a pilot in the Airforce, so it is quite likely that he followed his fathers path.

Not a comment on this particular clip…but…as your average consumer and knife collector…I’ve come to really dig your video reviews. A nice no-nonsense approach that gives me everything I need to make my decision when looking to add a blade to my collection…be it for hard use or to look pretty in my collection. Thanks for the time and effort you put into your reviews…
By npa4863, June 18, 2009 @ 8:16 am
the jimping on the blade makes it alittle easyer to cut rope/string…
By esurfer89, July 13, 2009 @ 6:22 pm
lol at 2:36 he says don;t add it to you collection because “it’s not the greatest defensive blade” lmao if its in your collection I don’t think you need it for defense.
