Microtech Katana Daytona

Blade and diamond plate inserts are all heat fired to add a nice bronze coloring to much of the knife. S30V Steel was used in the production of this knife. Date of production was 04/2009.

does the blade wiggle or have any play in it?

A little side to side play.

I find with most double-action knives I own there is a greater degree of blade play than you would see with a single-action knife like a Microtech Halo for example.

A Microtech Halo’s deployment almost has a little kick to it– something not really seen in the knife featured above. Double-actions have a far better retraction than deployment in my experience.

What do You mean by heat fired ??..

The diamond inserts are heat treated on both sides to add the bronze coloring shown in my video and internet pics.

A same method is also applied to the now largely unavailable Bronze Ultratech Katana.
