spring assisted knives are legal but switchblades and butterflys arn’t. and yea its really gay they need to do something about that law.

switchblades use a button or switch on the handle to open the blade, a spring assisted knife has the opening mechanism on the blade (such as a thumb stud) and a spring kicks in after pressure has been applied to complete the blade opening.
