Nice review. It is amazing how that edge maintained even after all that heavy cutting. Did you work on the edge or is that right out of the box?

Great job Mike! Impressive little blade I have to agree. I was really never a fan of stainless but now there may be room in my pocket for some AUS 08. Thanks Mike great review.

I don’t own any AUS 08 blades, so I don’t know anything about them, but after watching I wouldn’t be afraid of them. Good video, Thanks.

my rat 1 is aus 8 and its pretty good
only one chip on it and it was my fault
remind me not to pry one steel with a knife LOL oops

Wouldn’t you want it polished? Isn’t that the idea behind stropping?

@taylorsls It is already polished enough. As for the stropping it is mainly used for finishing the cutting edge of the blade just in case I did not make a good job with the 4000 grit.
