Love your reviews. Great way to promote your store (I’d do exactly the same if had an online knife store). But I notice you hesitate to talk about the price. From a business perspective, I think you should DEFINITELY talk about price and straight up tell people they can buy it at your site at the end of each vid (and make your URL more prominent). Promotion/selling would not detract from your review in any way. We get you’re trying to promote your store and that’s OK, go for it.

Pretty good price for a Microtech. I usually don’t pay attention when i see the Microtech knives, because they are too expensive, but this one is affordable.

my birthdays on the 25th can i have it? microtechs are the best, but sadly barely anyone can afford to buy a 600 dollar knife

I’ve handled both the 580 and 585 and both are excellent. I went with the 580 for the size, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to you. The larger blade snaps open with authority just like the 585, maybe *slightly* slower because it’s larger and heaver, but still impressive speed.

Hey man, I have a 585 Mini Barrage, but I’ve been looking at getting the larger 580. What are your thoughts on the larger 585 vs. 580. I like the small feel of the mini, but I need a knife that’s a bit larger with a longer blade. I can’t find any local shops with the larger one, so I’m afraid of purchasing online sight-unseen.

Wow what are the odds of finding a Microtech in a pawn shop! Nice going. Just some info for you, those screws are indeed unique. They are tri-wing bits pretty much only used by Microtech. Yes they offer a set so you can perform maintenance tasks on the knife (like replacing that sorta worn spring). Believe it or not, it’s not a scary mess of parts inside. It’s just the blade and a simple slide with two springs. There is a video of someone taking apart the knife if you would like to see it.
