Kershaw scallion all the way! Best knife under 50 bucks. ($32 to be exact) Very fast knife.

I’m gonna have to respectfully disagree, in my opinion, the best under 50 is the Spyderco Tenacious, but to each their own.
By christiancoker1, February 16, 2009 @ 2:30 pm
Yes i just found out how good spyderco knives are. And the spring on my kershaw crapped out on me.

I really like SOG knifes, I own a special edition NRA version of the SOG Trident. In my opinion, SOG really has nothing on Benchmade when it comes to precision manufacturing. I don’t have a Kershaw so I can’t speak to them

personally i hate thumb holes. i need a thumb stud.
I like the sog Aegis and the Benchmade griptillian but for now i get by with a Crkt m1613z and a few other cheep knives.

I like the mini griptillian and you can get it for under 50 online in certian places

Deep carry pocket clip on the sog is nice. I wish more manufactuers used it.

Kershaw dosn’t use springs they use a torison bar.

assisted opening knives are for women. Learn how to handle a knife and it doesn’t matter point up or down, thumb stud or hole, I can open a gerber gator with either hand in under a second, combat ready. Spyderco knives are disposable, kershaws don’t draw smoothly and benchmade blades are far too breakable. I like SOG and Boker, Gerber makes a decent blade but their multi tools are total shit.

thanks for the “input”
By christiancoker1, July 3, 2009 @ 1:51 pm
i know that
By Blankford3100, July 3, 2009 @ 5:06 pm
Under a second really? My Kershaw can open faster then most automatics.

“assisted opening knives are for women” Uh-huh. You don’t have a girlfriend, do you? I thought not.
“Learn to handle a knife…” Uh-huh. Another keyboard commando.
Under a second? Combat ready? Wow. Anyone want to bet this joker has never been near a knife fight?
Spyderco disposable? Kershaws don’t draw smoothly? Benchmades are too breakable? LOL! SOG and Böker are both excellent knives… but neither are better than Benchmade, Kershaw, or Spyderco, you fucking chucklehead…
By unrulyrascal, July 13, 2009 @ 6:29 am
And Gerber uses a lower quality steel than those “breakable” Benchmades.
Do you actually know ANYTHING… or is talking nonsense the actual hobby?
By Budobuyu, July 17, 2009 @ 10:26 pm
Come on guys, everyone knows 440 steel is unbreakable and is far superior to VG-10, D2, and S30V. Right!?…Right? ….right? Hello?
Yeah, it’s what I thought. He’s a blockhead.

i dont like tip up that much because one time i went into my pocket and guess what it had opend a little!!!
By Yesmaamiagree, September 4, 2009 @ 2:02 pm
Lol, you don’t know shit. My benchmade griptilian will last longer than any boker or SOG folding knife. Same goes for my spyderco manix, or even endura with the new steel liners. Honestly, you don’t know shit. If this was true, Spyderco and Benchmade wouldn’t be the two of the most popular knife companies around.
By Yesmaamiagree, September 4, 2009 @ 2:04 pm
60 or so is the best price I found but it’s a great knife! Factory edge sucks though. resharpen it.
By jayfulf, October 2, 2009 @ 10:47 am
haha spyderco better than sog… you idiot
By Yesmaamiagree, October 2, 2009 @ 11:02 am
No shit, re-read the comment. I plainly said they spyderco is better than boker and SOG… you idiot.
By gundude73, October 17, 2009 @ 8:14 am
i have a 913. for a while it had a lot of up and down blade play. i tightened up the bade stop pin and it is like new.
By TheHellBound666, October 25, 2009 @ 7:41 pm
I like the ideas behind sog knives, but the plain zytel handle, no metal…I could break that thing in 10 seconds lol.
By jckstrthmghty, December 12, 2009 @ 7:04 pm
You probably could but use the right tool for the job at hand. In reality how often would most people need more strength than the trident offers.
By TheHellBound666, December 13, 2009 @ 6:03 am
I guess it just depends really, I like having knives on my person at all times and I need to have the knowledge that if something horrible happened my knives would maybe help me through it and be strong enough to hold up to whatever I threw at them. Not that any knife is a crowbar or chisel but you know what I mean.
