I would like to see it all go away and that will be the end of this all but the A’hole won’t let that happen so it goes its course of destruction.

But like I said I am wrapping it all up here soon and will be moving to new and better things.

Good luck mate, much respect goes out to you!

  • By Roadsideimports, October 29, 2009 @ 12:24 am

I agree, I’m not negotiating with terrorists is what I told their lawyer. I have a formal policy with my own soul not to deal with terrorists and I will adhere to it.

Les De A’Hole is not a trustworthy person to be signing something about not speaking out about things. I have nothing to hide, I put all the details on the internet for everyone to see, those are my cards why would I give the only thing up I have that is crazy.

So my answer is spend more money with your lawyer and then if things get a ruling then things will go to a bankruptcy court. Then I will sue all the people who supplied the items to me directly because they are truly the ones that Benchmade should be going after if anyone at all. Or get them to join a class action lawsuit against Benchmade because that would be the best solution and the most just because their BS patent and trademark issues are pure pish.

Yeah, so was the initial letter that if I paid them $15,000 and except their terms of settlement for the problems as well. It is the companies method of attack to people, use the big power of money and lawyers to scare the little guy into submission. I gave them their run and now people understand the issues because of it.

Benchmade is extremely crooked and ruthless. Some of their knives may be good, but without a honest and faithful company behind them they’re not worth buying whatsoever. I hope others can see the fallacies and corruption in Benchmade as I have. I’m still slightly amazed they would drop to this level, although nonetheless they’ve lost me as a customer and supporter. I was planning on purchasing the Infidel, but after this being revealed about it, the Microtech Troodon seems to be a better choice.

  • By KnifeHoard, October 29, 2009 @ 5:48 pm

This whole thing about the “safety feature”: I’ve seen certain Microtech Knives do the same thing (also claiming it as a safety feature), and Microtech makes some damn good products.

  • By Roadsideimports, October 29, 2009 @ 6:11 pm

Safety feature is the biggest joke of them all, either you put a good spring system into it or you don’t period. It is all about lockup and with everyday use dirt and lint and garbage is destine to get into the channel and if this causes the knife not to lock up then really what good is it? If this happens it is merely an overpriced novelty item that is just for looks and not for using.

  • By Roadsideimports, October 29, 2009 @ 6:13 pm

It is most definitely not a safety feature, I have not seen this on any Microtech model, I have seen it on clones. I would seriously like to see the manufacturer of these products state this garbage on their own website because I am always up for a good laugh. This so called safety feature is stated no where on any company website that produces such items period. It merely is some stupid statement that some ignorant halfwit posted on a knife forum and that is all.

    who won? you won.
    congrats

In some areas for being the little guy being attacked, I did get some forward motion but my case is still active, they wanted to talk to me but demanded I sign a non-disclosure agreement, meaning I could not talk about anything anymore. I have nothing to hide, the info is all there for viewing on the subject so why would I give that up.

Hi. I just bought a bear and son tanto balisong from your store. I have 10 knives in my collection 4 of which are microtech and protech autos. This balisong is the cheapest knife I now own and I want to learn tricks ect with it. But I also want to buy a high quality bali and everyone seems to agree that benchmade is the best, I know with good cause you despise benchmade, but is there another nice looking awesome quality bali available. I wish so much I could find a microtech dragonfly

My own hand made model will be out in a few weeks, it is a new company called Valhalla Cutlery they will be s30v blades hand ground by Alan Harvey and they will have solid brass handles like the old school models, titanium latch gate system, all pivot pins with screws that will be set with Loctite but give the option to clean and re-due when the user wants to, parts will be available ass well and the war will continue because this will not have any junk or foreign made parts period.

  • By Roadsideimports, November 4, 2009 @ 11:23 pm

Then if you don’t like my model or can’t wait and want a production model. I have the Cold Steel Arc Angel still in stock which no one else does, it is the engineers personal one from the Camillus factory who produced these knives. Then I have Spyderco models which are awesome as well.

  • By 3rdinfantrydivision, November 4, 2009 @ 11:48 pm

I like the sound of your model. Providing its under $300 USD and it looks nice, I will buy one. I assume they will be on your website as soon as some are produced? and will you post a vid here once the first run is done?. I have seen a Dalton bali with brass handles and it looks very nice but too expensive

  • By ivevic, December 3, 2009 @ 10:07 pm

And I have to say road you have of course all rights to sue. And I agree. But sorry to sound like a mentally retarded person. But what kind of knife is the infidel? I want one like it but with a stronger spring I am also wondering about a few more of your products. Thanks

  • By Roadsideimports, December 3, 2009 @ 11:44 pm

If you want the top mount trigger then the MOD Trition or the Piranha Excalibur are the top 2 models.

  • By eradimatrix, January 24, 2010 @ 3:52 am

This should be spread so more people know about Benchmade’s business practices. I see so many people on forums who love bench made

  • By Roadsideimports, January 24, 2010 @ 10:29 am

I agree but the Benchmade fanboys are like arguing with a closed minded self righteous nitwit, the Bitchmade fans are so devoted that they’d drink the Kool-Aid. I do hope more and more people do become aware of the shameful practices and take them serious because they are a disgraceful business.
