i love this knife dont get me wrong, but if your going to use it purley as a fighting knife why didnt you go with something like a syderco military with more textured handles and better jemping?
By edgedweapon88, September 16, 2009 @ 1:33 pm
Great video. The 710 is a beautiful knife!

Beautiful looking knife man, looks awesome!
Just something, I dont know why anyone bellow cant spell JIMPING, lol, but that is how it is spelled.

I love my 710. Definitely one of the best Benchmades. Demissie: you may want to check out the Benchmade Nitrous Striker in D2 as well. SWEET self-defense knife.

I’ve owned 3 of the 710′s (satin, combo, and bk coated) and they all have up/down blade play no matter how much I adjust the pivot. I even sent mine back to BM and it came back exactly the same. I have no problems with my griptilian, mini rukus, or 707, but I think these models just have inherent up/down bladeplay. SIde to side is not a problem.

My 710 is solid. No movement in any direction. Did you buy ur blades with the blade play present or it happened after use?
By mongomondomongo, December 8, 2009 @ 11:43 pm
They all had blade play out of the box and I couldn’t fix it by adjusting the pivot. Good news though, I just bought my 4th one and it’s solid. Haven’t had to adjust it either.
